A Little Bit About Greg....

     A sailor of almost forty years (he stepped onto his first boat at the age of three), Greg has spent much of his life on the waters of the Great Lakes, California, Florida and Texas.  His passion for boats goes beyond boat repair, boat maintenance and boat restoration. 

Greg enjoys racing sailboats...whether it's skippering the boat or simply crewing for someone else.  He has sailed in National Regattas as well as World Championships. 

Teaching others how to sail is another one of Greg's skills.  His laid back, never raise the voice, technique has allowed him to teach  adults as well as children starting at the age of 5.


 

Located just East of downtown Dallas, TX, Miss Tootie Boat Works is a mobile boat repair business based in Rowlett.  Miss Tootie Boat Works was established in 1997 by Greg Olsen.

By 1997, Greg had been repairing, restoring and maintaining boats for over 15 years.  Many boat owners were already familiar with Greg's work.  Greg knew how critical providing excellent customer service and quality, affordable work was going to be to the growth and success of the business...more importantly, he has never forgotten. 

While specializing in boat repair, boat maintenance and boat restoration, the biggest service we provide for our customers is convenience.  That's why there is no need to pack up your boat and bring it to us...even for an estimate.  We realize that your time is valuable as well as limited with work and family.  Miss Tootie Boat Works remains one of the few boat repair shops that will come to you.

As for the craftsmanship, no work gets done at Miss Tootie Boat Works unless it is "done the right way".   We do not believe in the "quick fix" when it comes to boat repair.  We firmly believe in doing things right the first time. Miss Tootie Boat Works has set the standard for quality service and boat repair for more than 10 years.
